Jerime Anderson
Canyon
6-3, Sr., G

Anderson was All-Orange County first-team last season as a junior. He led the Comanches to the Century League championship last season, when he averaged 18 points, six rebounds, five steals and five assists a game. Anderson also was the Century League's player of the year, and was named All-SCIBCA/AAF Division I-A first team. He signed a letter of intent with UCLA last month.

Andy Brown
Mater Dei
6-8, Jr., G

Brown might have been overlooked on last year's Monarchs team, which had All-County selections Kamyron Brown and Taylor King on board, and might be in the same situation this year, thanks to the Wear twins. But opposing coaches praise Brown's all-around skills. Look for him to improve a lot on the seven points and three rebounds he averaged last season. Brown is getting recruited by many top college programs.

Stefan Kaluz
Corona del Mar
6-9, Sr., C

Kaluz led the Sea Kings to the CIF-Southern Section Division III-A championship last season. In the championship-game victory over Renaissance Academy of La Canada, he scored 23 points, on 10-for-14 shooting, with seven rebounds. Kaluz was the Division III-A and Pacific Coast League player of the year. He will go to Brown University.

David Wear
Mater Dei
6-11, Jr., F

Wear was named to the All-Division I-AA first team last season, when he helped the Monarchs win the Trinity League and a CIF state championship. He averaged nine points and five rebounds last year on a team that had the county's leading scorer (King). A strong inside player who can shoot outside well, too, Wear is getting recruited by just about every major college program in the nation.

Travis Wear
Mater Dei
6-11, Jr., F

He is David Wear's twin biologically, and basketball-wise, too. Wear was All-Orange County third team last season when he averaged eight points and four rebounds a game. Like David, his statistics should increase dramatically this season. Also like David, Travis is a force inside who is effective facing the basket as well. And, like his twin, Travis is getting recruited by most of the big-name college programs in the nation.
