Welcome to CleanUpFoundation.org

This site was founded by Jane C. and Kathryn P. on June 16, 2008. The girls went for a walk in their neighborhood and noticed lots of trash along the trails. Rather than just leaving it as is, the girls decided to do something about it. They went home and got a trash bag and returned to the site of messiness, where they filled their trash bag with lots and lots plastic bags, wrappers, cans and bottles. The girls were so happy with their efforts for the environment that they decided to start up this website to encourage others to be green and clean up the environment “right where you live”.

The mission of this website is to encourage everyone to clean up their own neighborhood and report their successes here.
